Special Services Director
I began working in education in 1993. Since beginning work in Eugene, I have enjoyed getting to know and work with staff, students, parents, and community members. This is a great community to live and work.
I grew up in Chillicothe, Mo. and went to the University of Central Missouri. I have a degree in Elementary Pre-K-3rd grade and 1-8. I have a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from William Woods University and I am about to finish up my Masters in Leadership with an emphasis in Special Education Director from William Woods University this December. I’ve taught elementary and middle school general education students and special education students.
Before moving to Eugene, we lived in Joplin, MO. I’ve been married for over 25 years to my husband, Mark, and we have three children. Our oldest is in graduate school, our middle child is at the University of Missouri, and our youngest attends school here in Eugene. As a family, we love to hike, travel, and bake.
